Expenses to Expect
REGISTRATION FEE:
The Registration fee is $30.00 plus $5 for each additional child per family

TUITION:
½ hr class per wk = $30 a month
¾ hr class per wk = $42 a month
1 hr class per wk = $45 a month
1:15 class per wk = $55 a month jazz/tap or ballet/tap combo
1:30 class per wk = $60 a month

Extra classes are $6 off original fee, unless the second class is also a combo class.  A discount is already given for these classes.   Tuition is due the last or first week of each month.  Envelopes will be passed out the third week of the month for tuition due the following two weeks.  If you are absent when due, please send payment to:

Costumes

June Show
Child costumes are approximately $45.  Adult costumes are approximately $55.
Costume deposits will be divided into 3 months, October, November, and December, with balance due in January. Costumes are non–refundable after Dec. 19th.

Christmas Show
Costumes for the Christmas show are not ordered.  We use street clothes and dancewear that can be worn again. 

Students taking Pointe should expect to purchase at least 2 pairs of pointe shoes per year. 
 

Dance Factory Rules

A newsletter will be sent out via email each month. If you do not have an email account you can pick up a newsletter from the side table at the studio.  It will also be posted on this website.

Please have your child at the studio at least 5 minutes before their class time. 
Tardiness is not good for your child as they will miss warm-up material.  Please pick up your child in a timely manner after their class.  We cannot take responsibility for children left after their class time.  Our next class is in progress and our attention is on that class. Children should not be outside the studio unless accompanied by a parent.

Parents of students ages 3-6 may observe classes.  Parents of all other students may observe the last week of each month. Please do not enter your child’s classroom if a class is in progress.  Please help us by having your child follow their student rules.


Students

All hair should be pulled off your face.  Ponytails are fine for tap and jazz.  Hair in bun for ballet.  NO SCRUNCHIES.  Dancewear is a must.

Ballet:  Black leotard, Pink tights, and ballet shoes.  Colors are NOT optional.
Tap and jazz:  Black leotards/capri or dance shorts and the appropriate dance shoes. 
NO SHIRTS OVER LEOTARDS.
Hip hop:  Black leotard, black sweat pants and tennis shoes.
